Job summary

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and motivated Quality & Risk Assessor to join our  Quality & Risk team.

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring our standards are upheld and continuously improved. Ideally, you will have experience in a Healthcare environment,.

This role covers the the south region and as such the role will require travel across our sites and to our offices in Warwick on a regular basis. As such a valid UK driving License is required.

We will accept full or part time applicants for this role.

Please note that as this is a mobile role you must be willing to travel due to the nature of the role. You will be provided with a company vehicle and your mileage will be reimbursed.

Required Skills and Experience

As a successful applicant you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

Essential:

  •  Educated to a minimum of A level or NVQ 3 equivalent (relevant experience will be taken into consideration).

  •  Knowledge and understanding of external regulatory standards.
  •  Healthcare professional.
  •  Knowledge and understanding of Clinical Research trials and required documentation.

Main duties of the job

The Quality & Risk Assessor will provide a continuous field-based governance presence across the region, conducting Quality Assurance Reviews (QARs) at Alliance Medical (AML) facilities.

This role supports the Head of Quality and Risk by identifying issues that may require updates to policies and procedures, while also contributing to the enhancement of the patient experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments at AML facilities using the Alliance Medical Quality Assurance Framework and Assurance Tool.
  • Produce detailed written reports and action plans within agreed timeframes.
  • Monitor action plans and maintain the central action tracker for monthly collaborative reviews with the Regional Head of Quality and Risk.
  • Communicate QAR findings to first-line operational management.
  • Provide data and insights to support monthly business review meetings.
  • Monitor implementation of site-specific actions as required.
  • Plan and maintain a schedule of assurance visits.
  • Escalate non-compliance issues to the Head of Quality and Risk.
  • Support new facility mobilisations to meet CQC readiness requirements.
  • Undertake additional duties as directed by the Head of Quality and Risk.
