Mobile Imaging Manager - Diagnostic Imaging

Job summary

A brand new opportunity has arisen to join our Mobile Operations Team as a Mobile Imaging Manager. 

We are looking for someone to oversee the Leeds/Yorkshire area so ideally you will live within this region. 

The post holder will be reflective in thinking and outlook and have a growth mind-set. The role will require you to demonstrate a problem solving approach to issues arising at a local level, highlighting areas of concern appropriately and actively participate in the subsequent change management process.

You will be expected to lead key changes for your service, contributing to and implementing new strategies using structured methods including project management in partnership with other functions as necessary.

As this is a mobile role it is essential that you hold a full driving licence and are comfortable driving long distances. A company car will be provided. 

Experience: 

  • Previous experience of managing a team is essential.
  • Experience in managing contracts, customers and developing customer relationships,
  • undertaking risk assessments, and project management are desirable. 
  • Knowledge and experience of health, diagnostic imaging & social care service provision is desirable. Awareness of, and compliance with Radiation Regulations (including IRMER, IRR 99 and EPR 2010), CQC, Health and Safety legislation, Imaging Service Accreditation Scheme (ISAS), GDPR & Quality. 

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for the line management development and growth of your designated team.

Expectation will be for regular face to face meetings with your sites, customers and trusts to promote business development as well as regularly supporting internal departments such as resource planning and logistics to facilitate a well led mobile business.

We are looking for individuals who would like to meet and exceed internal targets, ensure excellent governance and adherence to the external regulatory standards.

The role requires effective people, customer, management and change management skills. You will be expected to contribute to the business areas medium and long term strategy to develop business performance and develop long term strategic partnerships.
