We have an exciting opportunity for a Planning Office Officer to join our Radiopharmacy team.
In this role, you will support our national network of 5 Radiopharmaceutical Production Units and the customers we serve.
As a Planning Office Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of radiopharmaceuticals, and maintaining effective communication with both internal teams and external customers. You will play a crucial role in optimizing workflow processes, addressing any logistical challenges, and providing updates on order statuses. Additionally, you will maintain accurate records and data to support invoicing and compliance with regulatory standards. This position offers a dynamic and collaborative environment where your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and success of our operations.
You will be proactively liaising between AMRL manufacturing sites and customers to communicate batch status and future deliveries.
Management of the order inboxes for FDG, FEC, and NaF using the corporate ordering system, while also handling individual inboxes for FBB, PSMA, and TAU. Additionally, you coordinate courier deliveries, ensuring timely dispatch and addressing any logistical issues that arise.
You provide shipping updates at the point of dispatch and inform customers of any delays that might impact the scanning schedule. Furthermore, you maintain accurate records of doses ordered and supplied, along with relevant data and statistics to support precise invoicing.
Please note this is an 18 month fixed term role.

As a successful applicant you should be able to demonstrate the following:
GCSE including English and Mathematics.
Customer service experience.
Experienced in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook.
Good keyboard skills.
Good telephone manner.
Effective communication skills; personable.
Professional appearance and manner.
Excellent organisation skills, timekeeping, and attention to detail.
Able to work independently and as part of a team; proactive, flexible, and self-motivated.
Flexible approach and must be able to support weekend and potential evening working.
Science qualification or medical imaging background would be advantageous.
